FUND-RAISER Easter Seals and Angels to hold anniversary dinner



Easy Street Productions will entertain at the Oct. 13 event at Mr. Anthony's.
BOARDMAN -- The Easter Seals and the Angels of Easter Seals will celebrate anniversaries during a dinner planned for Oct. 13 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. The Easter Seals will mark their 50th anniversary and Angels, their 25th.
The event will begin with a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. and gourmet dinner from 7 to 8:30.
Entertainment: Easy Street Productions will present entertainment with Maureen Collins and Todd Hancock as hosts. Also on hand will be Easy Street regulars Illa Wilson and James McClellan, the East Street Little Rascals and Easy Street Little Big Band.
The children of the Easter Seals Center will help make centerpieces.
Angels of Easter Seals will introduce its new cookbook, "Party Favorites," which contains 350 recipes submitted by Angels of the Easter Seals and Easter Seals board and staff members. Cookbooks will be on sale at the dinner or at the Easter Seals Center. Angels members will have them for sale after Oct. 13. The cookbook costs $10. Details: The cost for the event is $50 a person, $75 for patron and $600 for a corporate table of eight. Reservations are being accepted by the Easter Seals Center, (330) 743-1168.
Co-chairmen are Anthony Vivo, chief volunteer officer of the Easter Seals, and Geri Kosar, president of Angels of Easter Seals.
Committee members are Lynn Mitchell, Joan Zarlenga, Barry Solomon, Genevieve Moritz, Susan Rupert, Kathy Miller, Betty De Luca, Mary Van Sickle, Henry Bertolini, Tom Hathorn, Chester Amedia, Geoff Pearce and Julie Costas.
Proceeds will benefit the Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
