HEALTH CARE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Dr. Richard Cowett, M.D., has been named director of the division of neonatology at Tod Children's Hospital. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Cowett completed a fellowship in neonatology at the Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island in Providence and remained there as a neonatologist in the department of pediatrics. He was also a professor of pediatrics at Brown University School of Medicine and later served as chairman of the department of neonatology, division of pediatrics for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is the editor of a reference textbook on neonatology, first published in 1998 and now in its second edition.
Dr. Natalie Yeaney, M.D., a neonatologist from the University Hospitals Health System, will be performing her clinical duties full time at Tod as part of the hospital's affiliation with Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Yeaney has completed a neonatology fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. She is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
GREENVILLE -- Dr. Deborah Snyder, D.O., has joined the medical staff at UPMC Horizon as a primary care physician, in affiliation with the Micchia Family Practice. Dr. Snyder is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice. She completed her family practice residency training and internship at Doctors Hospital in Columbus and received her medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens. She was in private practice for two years before joining UPMC Horizon. Her new office is in Hermitage.

SHARON -- Steve Adams has joined Winner Advertising as a senior media planner-buyer. Adams graduated from the University of Akron in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in mass media/communications, and he has more than 22 years' experience in advertising and marketing. A resident of Cuyahoga Falls, he has had 17 marketing-related articles published in health-care trade publications within the past two years and has conducted five seminars for health care associations.
