CANFIELD -- A reception was held Aug. 18 at the Pavilion at Opus 21, Howland, in honor of D. Jasper Simcowski and his bride, the former Bridget McNeil, both of Chicago, following their marriage at 3:30 p.m. that day at Canfield United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Peter Kadar presided at the wedding for the daughter of Tim and Marty McNeil, 1374 Church St., Mineral Ridge, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Simcowski of Chicago.
After a wedding trip to Bali in the South Pacific, the couple live at 2003 W. Evergreen, Chicago.
Pearl buttons added back interest to the bride's strapless satin gown.
Charcoal gray gowns were worn by Heidi Karrenbauer, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Meredith McNeil and Sarah McNeil, sisters of the bride; Regan Van Huffel; and Jennifer Miller.
The duties of best man were performed by Thomas Pulice, a brother of the groom, and groomsmen were Tim McNeil Jr., the bride's brother; Zachary Simcowski, a brother of the groom; Craig Gruber; and Jonathon Cummings.
The bride, an oncology nurse at Rush-Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago, graduated from Loyola University, Chicago.
The groom attended LU and is a stock broker with Global Maxa Derivatives in Chicago.
