APTOS, Calif. -- Kate Walgren of Moss Beach, Calif., a daughter of Larry and Polly Walgren of Powers

APTOS, Calif. -- Kate Walgren of Moss Beach, Calif., a daughter of Larry and Polly Walgren of Powers Lake, Wis., and Sean Handel of Moss Beach, a son of Edward and Marie Handel, 990 Brentwood Ave., Youngstown, were married Aug. 4 at Seascape Resort.
The Rev. T. Mike Walker presided at the 1 p.m. ceremony and a reception was held immediately afterward at the resort.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Tahiti and upon return live in San Francisco.
The bride, a senior product manager with Baby Center in San Francisco, holds a bachelor's degree in management computer systems from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater, Wis.
The groom graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., where he earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in computer science. He is a director of product management with Talaris Corp. in San Francisco.
The bride wore a white tulle ballgown, and a French blue gown was worn by Julie Walker, the maid of honor.
Attendants for the bride were her brothers, Chris Walgren and Tim Walgren.
Best man was the groom's brother, Mark Handel, and groomsmen were his brother, Kevin Handel, and Scott Cerza. Ushers were the bride's cousins, Jillian Krupko and Jenny Lewis, and the groom's nephews, Evan Williams and Eric Walker.
