Life after football: When his football career is over, Maurice Clarett would like to begin working in the real estate business. "Football's not going to be there forever. I know that," he said. "So I have to find something else I'm going to like. I always wanted to own property. People need a place to live, and I want to be the one who owns it."
Sending a message: Clarett has a tattoo on his leg, another on his arm. The tattoos are Japanese symbols that signify respect and trust.
In the family: Clarett's brother, Marcus, is a sophomore defensive lineman on the University at Buffalo football team.
Favorite subject: "Strength and conditioning," Clarett laughed.
Comment: "Coach [Thom McDaniels] is always talking about being an investment and how you protect your investment -- just staying out of the way, staying out of trouble. Once you get used to something after a while, it's regular routine."
