YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Kimberly Howell and Scott Hynes took place at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at St. Edward Church with the Rev. Frank Lehnerd officiating.
Parents of the bride are Walter and Diane Howell, 13 Cherokee Drive, Girard.
Mr. Hynes is a son of Eugenia Hynes, 440 E. Montrose St., Liberty, and John Hynes II of Girard.
A reception was held at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Centre in Liberty.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Jamaica. They are living in Liberty.
A strapless gown of silk satin organdy was worn by the bride. It featured double silk charmeuse bands, and miniature bows trimmed the back.
Susan Howell was maid of honor for her sister, and bridesmaids were Jennifer McKernan, the bride's cousin; Katie Hynes, the groom's sister; Juli Pierce; Wendi Pierce; and Danielle DiDonato. They wore smoke-purple gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by Mark Hynes, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Christian McKernan, the bride's cousin; Mike Coman; Bill Beinecke; Daniel Dota; and Tom Menelle.
Mrs. Hynes holds a bachelor's degree in geology from West Virginia University and is a polyester research technician with M & amp;G Polymers USA in Akron.
The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in geology. He is a staff engineer with Professional Service Industries in Youngstown.
