Free firewood will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 15, 22 and 29 and Oct. 6 in Mill Creek Park's wood storage lot, West Golf Drive near Stitt Pavilion. Those picking up wood must cut and load it themselves. Only 15 vehicles will be allowed in the lot at a time. Trucks larger than pickup size and trailers attached to trucks are prohibited.
