COVINGTON, Ky. -- Married at 2 p.m. Aug. 4 at Holy Cross Church were Charity Marie Wagner, daughter of Roger and Sandra Wagner, 717 Parkview Drive, Taylor Mill, Ky., and John Franklin Kirtley II, son of James and Georgann Kirtley, 457 Millbrook St., Canfield.
The Rev. Thomas Barnes officiated, and a reception took place at The Marquise Banquet and Conference Center in Wilder, Ky.
After a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are living in Columbus.
Fashioned of white duchess satin, the bride's strapless gown was embellished with embroidered schiffli medallions. She carried a bouquet of Casablanca lilies.
Honor attendant was Michelle Rapien, and bridesmaids were Shannon Rhine, Kelly Grether, Krista Rinehart, Lauren Whaley, Bridie Ellis, Amanda Christ and Sara Dumrese. Flower girl was Lexie Kleeh.
Matthew Kirtley was best man, and groomsmen were Timothy Kirtley, Stephen Kirtley, Joshua Wagner, Brad Soper, Todd Ryan, Dan Leugers, J.D. Minotti, Jeff Raupple, Martin Raupple and Dan Riordan. Kahlil Riley was ring bearer.
Mrs. Kirtley holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Northern Kentucky University and is a teacher at Little Red School House in Taylor Mill.
Her husband also graduated from NKU with a bachelor's degree in communications and is a law student at Capital University in Columbus.
