YOUNGSTOWN -- Marriage vows were exchanged at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church by Melissa Marie Lentine and John Edward Chetsko Jr.
The bride is a daughter of Frank Lentine Jr. of Campbell and Darlene Scarfo of Youngstown, and was raised by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lentine Sr. of Campbell. Mr. Chetsko is a son of John and Marcia Chetsko of Poland.
The Rev. David Shortt officiated, and a reception followed at St. Mary Assumption Social Hall.
After a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple are living in Boardman.
A strapless candlelight gown was worn by the bride. The fitted bodice was adorned with crystals and pearls, and the ballgown skirt fell to a chapel train.
Her sister, Lisa Scarfo, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Carrie Pateras, the groom's sister; Nicole Scarfo, the bride's sister; Dawn Zarlingo and Angela Maynard, her cousins; Katie Wright; and Denise Gulu. They wore dark-green and gold gowns. The bride's cousin, Daziana Valesquez, was flower girl.
Doug Haus was best man, and groomsmen were the groom's brother-in-law, George Pateras, and Brad Rowland, Joe Marshall, Peter Klimis, Scott Merrell and John Gulu. Michael Cherol, the bride's cousin, was ring bearer.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Mrs. Chetsko is a special-education teacher with Campbell City Schools. The groom is studying industrial engineering at YSU and is employed in merchandising and sales with American Bottling Co. in Youngstown.
