COLUMBIANA COUNTY Secret indictment served at the jail

The grand jury issued a total of eight indictments.
LISBON -- Three men have been served with secret indictments handed up by a Columbiana County grand jury.
Clifford E. Hill, 32, of Sprucevale Road, Rogers, already in the Columbiana County Jail on other charges, was served Wednesday with indictments on three counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of forgery.
Hill is charged with forging two checks May 21 and 25 from a personal checking account not his own and a money order March 19 that did not belong to him.
Other charges: He is in jail on a charge of theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and is scheduled to appear in common pleas court Monday on the theft charge, and Oct. 2 on the other.
He will have a hearing on the latest charges at 1 p.m. Sept. 20 along with others indicted by the grand jury.
Hill's wife, Tracy, of Middleton Township, hasn't been seen for three months. Officials won't speculate on her fate, but several of the search efforts for her this summer focused on finding a body.
Others indicted: Also served with secret indictments late Tuesday were:
Edward B. Lamp, 38, of Avondale Road, East Liverpool, carrying a concealed weapon.
Jeffrey P. Peaco, 19, of Lee Ave., Lisbon, two counts of breaking and entering.
The indictments were handed up last week, but people secretly indicted are not identified until they are arrested.
Openly indicted by the grand jury were:
James M. DeSalvo, 21, of Hatcher Road, New Waterford, criminal damaging.
Craig S. Carr, 40, of Rochester Pa., felonious assault.
Cassandra J. Carchedi, 39, of state Route 172, Minerva, two counts of forgery.
Thomas E. Dennis Jr., 23, of Morton Avenue, East Liverpool, failure to provide periodic verification of current address by a sexually oriented offender.
Charles A. Wilson, 44, of Kent Street, East Liverpool, domestic violence.
