Exhibit features the art of heart-healthy cooking



YOUNGSTOWN -- The 12th annual Edible Art Collection, sponsored by the American Heart Association, is from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Butler Institute of American Art.
At the event, which is free and open to the public, exhibitors artfully display menu items that meet the nutritional guidelines of the AHA. The entries will be judged for taste, appearance and presentation.
Also, there will be musical entertainment and a special exhibit for children with 2001 Heart Children Lily Hockenberry of Youngstown, representing the Mahoning/Northern Columbiana Division; and Timothy Streb of Warren, representing the Trumbull Division, as hosts.
Among the participants in the edible art collection are Abruzzi's Cafe 422, Austin Woods Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Avalon Inn & amp; Resort, Martini's Five Star Cuisine, PJ Snappers, Station Square Restaurant, Winner Institute of Arts and Science and Youngstown Crab Company. Bob Abruzzi is chairman of the event.
