Aug. 20
Arrest: A 16-year-old Boardman boy was arrested and charged with theft and misuse of a credit card.
Theft: Three CB radios were stolen from trucks belonging to R & amp;J Trucking, 8050 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A Vindicator newspaper box was stolen on Market Street.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle at Giant Eagle.
Theft: A check worth $660 was stolen from Geo. P. Reintjes Co. and cashed at First Star Bank, 1201 Doral Dr.
Theft: A 22-year-old woman stole a diamond ring from an apartment in the 1000 block of Wolosyn Circle.
Theft: A 22-year-old Pennsylvania woman stole $158 worth of clothes from Value City.
Theft: Headlights were stolen from a vehicle at Ames department store.
Theft: A 63-year-old Chagrin Falls man was arrested and charged with stealing newspapers and cookies at Giant Eagle.
Theft: $80 and a Visa card were stolen from a room at the Fairfield Inn.
Auto theft: A 1988 Cutlass was stolen at Tinseltown behind Southern Park Mall.

Theft: A 19-year-old man stole a cell phone from a purse in a home in the 50 block of Meadowbrook.
Theft: Eight NASCAR Busch Series auto racing tickets and checks were stolen from a home in the 30 block of Woodview Avenue.
Theft: $4,950 was stolen from an account at Home Savings & amp; Loan branch at 4005 Hillman Way.
Theft: A 14-year-old Youngstown girl was arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with theft for stealing a necklace.
Theft: $325 worth of clothes was stolen from a room at Days Inn.
Arrest: Police arrested a 34-year-old North Lima man at Wal-Mart and charged him with theft and robbery.
Theft: A man stole two shirts at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A wallet containing $250 and several credit cards and keys were stolen from a purse at Ames.
Aug. 22
Theft: Vehicles were broken into in on Wolosyn Circle. Two credit cards, a driver's license, papers and a check were stolen from one vehicle and 50 tapes and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from another in the 2000 block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block.
Theft: A man tried to buy $132 worth of merchandise at Wal-Mart with a stolen check.
Criminal damaging: Someone shattered Plexiglas and damaged 36 fence slats around the Ohio Edison substation at 4910 Southern Blvd.
Theft: A wallet was stolen at Phar-Mor.
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevy Cavalier was stolen from the 7000 block of Market Street.
Auto damage: The door locks of a vehicle were glued in the 7000 block of Market Street.
Armed robbery: A man robbed a Marathon gas station at 5823 South Ave.
Robbery: Someone broke open two cash registers in Burger King at 1403 Boardman-Canfield Road and stole $132.
Aug. 23
Break-in: Someone broke into D-U Construction, 6235 Southern Blvd., causing $500 in damages and stealing two cell phones and two vending machines containing $400.
Break-in: Someone caused damage to the glass panel and stole a laser worth $1,800 from O'Neil Concrete, 6235 Southern Blvd.
Break-in: Someone broke into Asphalt Sealer King, 6235 Southern Blvd., causing $50 in damages to a glass panel.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle struck a fence in a yard in the 1000 block of Walker Mill Road.
Vehicle break-in: A purse, a diaper bag, two pairs of shoes, three pairs of children's jeans and six children's shirts were stolen from a vehicle at Southern Park Mall.
Theft: A 54-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at Giant Eagle and charged with stealing three packs of strip steaks.
