YOUNGSTOWN -- Tamara Jackson, 568 Karolina Drive, Campbell, became the bride of Sean Toohey, 115 Roslyn Drive, during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. July 28 at St. Columba Cathedral.
A reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center honored the couple.
Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated for the daughter of Gloria Jackson, 3627 Ellsworth Ave., Erie, Pa., and the late Martin Jackson, and the son of Judith Toohey of the Roslyn Drive address and the late Edward Toohey.
Mrs. Toohey has a bachelor's degree in prekindergarten education from Youngstown State University. She is a preschool teacher at Trumbull County Educational Service Center, Warren.
Mr. Toohey, a deputy dog warden with Mahoning County Dog Warden, graduated from Western Reserve Institute Police Academy.
Escorted by state Rep. Sylvester Patton, the bride wore a satin gown with a princess bodice,V-neckline and cathedral train.
Kelly Jackson was honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Amy Jo Chambers, Dawn Nicholas, Gina Cashbaugh, Shannon Jackson, Diana Toohey, Mollie Crowe, Shawna Marsteller and Katherine Kopper. They wore platinum dresses. Bridegette Howard was flower girl.
David Toohey was best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Fairfield, Steven Cashbaugh, Charles Amicone, James Jackson, John Hudran, Sam Crowe, Frank Spellman and David Deitsch. Aaron Jackson was ring bearer.
After a honeymoon in Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple live in Campbell.
