SIDELIGHTS For all seniors



SCOPE Howland Senior Center, 9273 High St. N.E., Warren, will hold a Black and Blue Ball dinner and dance Sept. 12. Doors open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30. The cost is $7.50. A one-day bus excursion is planned for Sept. 17 and open to the public. Departure is at 7 a.m. and features a cruise on Portage Lake, visit to Brick and Brac Winery, lunch at Der Dertch House Restaurant, a visit to Schoenbrunn Village and shopping or dinner on your own at Beldon Village.
