YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kacey Sawicki honeymooned on a western Caribbean cruise after their wedding July 28 at St. Christine Church.
The bride is the former Melinda Marie Kyle, daughter of Richard Jr. and Dorothy Kyle, all of 4362 Timberbrook Drive, Canfield. The groom is a son of Roman and Wieslawa Sawicki, all of 3843 Loma Vista.
Monsignor David Rhodes officiated at 2 p.m. ceremony, and the newlyweds received guests at a reception at the Maronite Center.
Alencon lace appliques highlighted the bride's white gown designed with spaghetti straps and a fitted bodice.
Rebecca Gent of Columbus was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Darla Sawicki of Columbus, the groom's sister-in-law; Lisa Maravola, Girard; and Ruthanne Sitnick, April Beck and Jessica Beligni, all of Austintown. They wore wintermelon dresses. The bride's cousin, Emily Belle Damelio of Canfield, was flower girl.
The groom's brother, Richard Sawicki of Columbus, served as best man. Groomsmen were Thomas Sawicki of Youngstown, his brother; Jason and Adam Kyle, both of Canfield, the bride's brothers; Jeff Mraz of Youngstown; and Chris Devito of Austintown.
Mrs. Sawicki graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is a substitute teacher in Streetsboro School System.
A staff accountant with Office Max in Cleveland, the groom graduated from YSU.
They live in Streetsboro.
