Man reports carjacking outside bar

YOUNGSTOWN -- A 22-year-old city man was carjacked at gunpoint as he left a local bar shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, police reports show.
The man told police he was driving his 1982 black Pontiac Firebird from the lot of Smokey Joe's Lounge on Market Street at Indianola Avenue when four people jumped out of a green Ford Windstar minivan, pulled guns and ordered him to get out and lie on the ground.
The group took his keys and a gun was fired. He heard more gunshots as the carjackers fled.
