Luncheon held for the Wibles on anniversary

CANFIELD -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wible, 8425 Tippecanoe Road, was celebrated during a luncheon held Aug. 11 at Smaldino's Family Restaurant in North Lima.
Arrangements for the event were made by the couple's son and daughter-in-law, Wayne Jr. and Kim Wible of Dallas. There are two grandchildren in the family.
Married Aug. 14, 1951, at South Bend Reformed Church, South Bend, Pa., the couple are members of Boardman Baptist Church.
Mrs. Wible, the former Ruth Rupert, was a night filler at Kmart in Boardman and retired in 1989.
Mr. Wible served with the U.S. Navy and retired in 1984 from LTV Steel Corp., in Youngstown, where he was employed in sales.
