YOUNGSTOWN -- A honeymoon at Cable Beach in the Bahamas followed the 1 p.m. July 21 wedding of Kimberly M. Barnett, 425 N. Glenellen Ave., and Matthew D. Laret, 717 Sapp Road, Ravenna, at St. Brendan Church.
The Revs. James Daprile and Charles Talley presided for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Barnett Jr. of the Glenellen Avenue address and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Laret, 3304 Quentin Drive. A reception was held at the Saxon Club.
The bride's white silk gown was enhanced with lace, pearls and sequins and featured a dropped waistline and cathedral train.
Honor attendants were Yvonne Laret, who wore a navy blue gown, and Daniel Barnett.
Also in navy blue were the bridesmaids, Tammy Wilt, Candice Carkido, Nicole McGrath, Cara Cupples and Theresa Boye. Junior bridesmaids were Alyssa Laret and Kelsea McGrath, and flower girl was Marisa DeLuca.
Groomsmen were Greg Laret, Joseph Hayden, Steven Panamarzuk, Phillip Boye and Jerry Barnett. Ring bearer was Patrick McGrath, and the usher was Alex McGrath.
The bride holds an associate degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University and is general manager of operations at Wee Care Day and Learning Centre and Lads N' Lasses Academy in Boardman.
The groom, a physics teacher at Mentor Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, graduated from Kent State University with a degree in physics and from YSU with a degree in secondary education. They live at the groom's address.
