HOWLAND -- Vows were exchanged Aug. 4 by Erica Hodgkinson of Austintown and Michael Acierno of Girard as the Rev. Jerry Kruse officiated for their wedding at 2 p.m. at Howland Community Church.
The daughter of Allen and Gina Hodgkinson, 2737 Spring Meadow Circle, Austintown, and the son of Sandra Acierno of Hubbard and Mr. and Mrs. Carmen Acierno of Liberty were honored afterward during a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and live in Girard.
Fashioned of Italian satin and tulle, the bride's gown was enhanced with lace, pearls and sequins and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, cap sleeves and a cathedral train.
Shawna Hodgkinson served as honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Kelly Bitzer, Gretchen Hockensmith, Melissa Acierno, the groom's sister-in-law; and Karrie Rice, the bride's cousin. Flower girl was her cousin, Megan Rice.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom's brother, Jeff Acierno, and groomsmen were his brother, Jason Acierno; Bill Oyler; Matt Miller; and the bride's brother, Craig Hodgkinson. Serving as ring bearer was her cousin, Kurt Rice.
The bride is a receptionist at Taylor Coil Processing in Lordstown, and the groom is a machinist at PSK Steel in Hubbard.
