YOUNGSTOWN -- Cheryl Sue Wawrosch of Austintown became the bride of David Lane Fowler of Canfield on July 28 at Youngstown Baptist Church.
The Rev. James Gillespie officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony for the children of Phillip and Dolores Wawrosch of Austintown and Aubrey Jr. and Elaine Fowler of Alpharetta, Ga.
The newlyweds were honored at a reception held at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.
Mrs. Fowler graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is an English teacher at South Cobb High School in Austell, Ga.
Mr. Fowler attended YSU and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Both are continuing their education at Georgia State University. They live in Austell.
The bride wore a white satin gown styled with capped sleeves and cathedral train.
Leslie Miller of New Springfield was honor attendant. She wore a yellow dress, as did the bridesmaids, Amy Mauerman, Jennifer Woolley and Stephanie Pregi, all of Boardman; Julie Crawford, Austintown; and Jamie Welborn, Alamogordo, N.M.
Jeff Carter of Alexandria, Va., was best man. Groomsmen were Phillip Wawrosch of Austintown, the bride's brother; Aubrey Fowler III of Columbus, the groom's brother; and Rick Gringrich, New Middletown. Ring bearer was Craig Wawrosch of Austintown, the bride's nephew.
