Boardman boys' cross country third at Viking Invitational

NORTH CANTON -- Tom Albani took second place in 16 minutes, 41 seconds, as the Boardman High boys cross country team placed third in the Viking Invitational at North Canton Hoover High Saturday.
Glenn Collins of North Canton Hoover won in 16:30, to lead his team to victory with 51 points. Massillon Jackson was second with 59.
Poland: MADISON -- Tom Sutcliffe finished seventh in 18:09, as Poland's boys scored 167 points to finish seventh in the Madison Invitational.
John Ramson was 26th for the Bulldogs in 19:22.
Poland was ninth in the girls team standings. The Bulldogs' top finisher was Colleen Moran, in 20th place (22:39).
