Annual drawdown

Annual drawdown
MILTON -- Lake Milton's annual drawdown begins Tuesday. Ohio Department of Natural Resources crews hope to drop water levels about 1 foot every 10 days, lowering the 1,685-acre lake by a total of 6 feet. They expect to finish the draw down by Nov. 30.
Officials said the Robinson Point launch ramp will remain open through the process but the Miller's Landing ramp will close. They cautioned boaters to monitor water levels for shallow spots, especially at the south end.
