CANFIELD
Oct. 23
Theft: Jewelry valued at $1,650 was reported missing from a Broad Street home. Daughters of the owners told police the items disappeared over the last two years.
Oct. 25
Drugs: Police charged a 19-year-old Boardman woman with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding two plastic bags of suspected marijuana and a silver pipe in her possession after a traffic stop on East Main Street. An 18-year-old Canfield man, a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with drug abuse/possession.
Oct. 26
Theft: A sterling silver smoky Quartz ring and a black snake-embossed leather purse were reported stolen from Handle On It, 584 E. Main Street, a curio shop.
Oct. 27
Concealed weapons: A 21-year-old Leetonia man was arrested during a traffic stop on South Broad Street and charged with two felony counts of carrying a concealed weapon and one count of improperly handling firearms. His passenger, a juvenile male also from Leetonia, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe containing suspected marijuana residue. Police found a shotgun, two handguns, knives and several rounds of ammunition.

Criminal damage: Windows on a vehicle and a shed were shot at with a BB gun in the residential 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Criminal damage: The outside light to a residence was shot with a BB gun in the residential 5000 block of Country Trail.
Theft: A man was arrested in a theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A window was damaged but no entry was possible at Key Bank, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.
Burglary: A door was pried open in the residential 400 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: A vehicle was broken into at the Regency House, 3704 Mahoning Ave., and an AM-FM compact disc player was stolen.
Theft: A yard swing was stolen from the 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Entrance was gained through a bathroom window and televisions were taken at a residence in the 100 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: Two cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen from Country Fair, Niles-Canfield Road.

Burglary: Checks, a diamond ring and an antique doll were stolen from a residence in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.
Criminal damage: A window was broken in the residential 4000 block of Westmont Drive.
Theft: Checks were reported stolen in the residential 20 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Burglary: Compact discs and clothing were reported taken from a residence in the 4000 block of Plumbrook Drive.
Theft: A videocassette recorder was taken by a man from Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A woman stole cigarettes at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Avenue.

Theft from auto: A window was broken out of a vehicle in the residential 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM radio, golf clubs and a circular saw were reported stolen from Howard Johnson's, 5425 Clarkins Drive.
Theft: Six or seven packs of cigars were stolen from the BP station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: A briefcase containing paper and checkbooks was stolen from a vehicle at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: Stereo equipment was reported stolen from a vehicle in the residential 7000 block of Ruby Court.
Drug offense: A man was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia on Woodhurst Drive.

Auto theft: A 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from the parking lot at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: A woman was assaulted by a man in the residential 3000 block of Lynn Haven Drive.
Assault: A woman was assaulted by two other females in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Felonious assault: A woman was struck with a club in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Auto theft: A 1999 Chevrolet Astro Van was stolen from the residential 3000 block of Crum Road.
Criminal damage: Eggs were reported thrown at a vehicle in the residential 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.

Counterfeit: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Thieves broke into a vehicle at Wal-Mart and stole a compact disc player, speakers and an amplifier.
Theft: A compact disc receiver and compact discs were stolen from the residential 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Theft: $90 in cash was stolen from a residence in the 6000 block of South Timberidge Avenue.
Auto theft: A 1988 Oldsmobile Cierra was reported stolen from the 100 block of North Meridian Road.
Theft: A 20-inch Gucci gold necklace valued at $1,100 was stolen from a residence in the 7000 block of Black Water Cover.
