Stolen tapes found at local video store

SHARON, Pa. -- Police said the victim of a burglary in which numerous Nintendo game tapes were stolen did some sleuthing on her own and found the stolen tapes at a local video store.
The burglary occurred in the 200 block of First Avenue on Saturday but wasn't reported until Monday when the owner of the home realized the games were missing.
Police said she went to Budd Street Video on Sharpsville Avenue, which buys and sells new and used videos and game tapes, and found 36 tapes that belonged to her.
She was able to identify the tapes because the name of a family member had been recorded in the tapes' memory, police said. Investigators are now trying to find out who sold the tapes to the video store.
