BOARDMAN -- Mandy L. Valentin of Youngstown became the bride of John S. Creatura, also of Youngstown, during a 2 p.m. ceremony Sept. 21 at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Daniel Venglarik officiated for the daughter of Denise DeFrank of Boardman and Angel Valentin of Orlando, Fla., and the son of Jacci Creatura and John Creatura, both of Youngstown.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at St. Lucy Church hall in Campbell, then they left for a honeymoon in Fort Myers, Fla.
Since their return they are living in Youngstown.
Mrs. Creatura is a receptionist at Acme Steak Co. in Youngstown.
Mr. Creatura is a driver with Heidelberg Beverage Distributors in Cleveland.
The bride's off-the-shoulder white gown was styled with a fitted bodice adorned with pearls, and her full tulle skirt flowed to a cathedral train. A pearl and crystal headpiece held her fingertip veil.
Jamie DeFrank of Cleveland, the bride's cousin, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Alissa Guerrieri of Boardman, sister of the bride, and Amanda Taylor of Boardman. They wore pink dresses. Flower girl was Sara Kamal of Campbell, cousin of the bride.
Jim Barnes of Youngstown performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Valentin of Orlando, brother of the bride, and Chris Skowron of Canfield.
