LARRY GURRERA* (D)
Age: 56.Home: 4476 E. State St.Employment: Salesman at Stupka Motors.Education: Farrell High School graduate; bachelor's degree in education from Edinboro University; master's degree from Edinboro.Family: Wife, Carol; two sons.Priority: Keeping the excellent services available to our citizens at their current high standard without raising taxes; listen to everyone's opinions and concerns before reacting.
REGINA L. EHRHART (D)
Age: 41.Home: 810 Koonce Road.Employment: None.Education: Graduate of Mount Lebanon High School; bachelor's degree from Duquesne University.Family: Husband, Brad; two daughters.Priority: Proper decision-making on the merger/consolidation issue; getting Hermitage municipal meetings broadcast on the cable access channel to keep the public informed.
SYLVIA STULL* (D)
Age: 75.Home: 4568 Sample Road.Employment: Retired from General American Transportation Corp.Education: Graduate of Hickory High School; attended Youngstown State University; holds a certificate to teach Christian doctrine.Family: Husband, Donald.Priority: Develop a long-range plan to fund needed sanitary sewer improvements. Continue economic development of brownfields and technology parks, and maintain and improve safety services, planning and development capabilities and recreation programs.
JOSEPH AUGUSTINE* (R)
Age: 72.Home: 3399 Basil Drive.Employment: Retired operator of the Hermitage water pollution control plant.Education: Attended Gannon College.Family: Two sons.Priority: Deal with the sanitary sewer issues facing the city; keep taxes low; and do what is best for the people of Hermitage.
CHUCK NELSON (R)
Age: 44.Home: 3856 E. State St.Employment: Self-employed owner of Nelson's Photography, Floral Boutique and Computer Depot.Education: High school graduate.Family: Wife, Deborah: two daughters.Priority: Push for lower property and income taxes; get rid of nuisance taxes; revoke the annual business fee tax; strive to pass fewer regulatory ordinances; promote business growth, development and employment; and revoke the last sign ordinance that banned portable, changeable copy signs.
