DAVID J. WELTON* (R)
Age: 50.Home: 140 N. High St.Employment: Material management specialist at UPMC Horizon.Education: Graduate of Greenville High School; business accounting graduate of the Pennsylvania Rehabilitation Center.Family: Single.Priority: To pull the community together and to get it to work as a unit.
FOUR-YEAR SEATS
PETE LONGIOTTI (D)
Age: 67.Home: 62 N. Race St.Employment: Retired from the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.Education: Jamestown High School graduate; completed various seminars and special courses.Family: Wife, Carmel; two sons and a daughter.Priority: Work on bringing jobs to the borough and increase the tax base, as well as study the feasibility of combining services with outlying townships.
LORRIE SMITH (D)
Age: 55.Home: 1 Walnut St. Employment: Self-employed in elder care.Education: Graduate of Lakeview High School; associate's degree in human development from Penn State University; attended Slippery Rock University.Family: Husband, Jack; two sons and a daughter.Priority: Financial stability; renewing basic American concepts and applying them to the present and future, including renewing the concept of a government "of the people, by the people and for the people."
RICHARD S. HOUPT* (R)
Age: 75.Home: 36 Chambers Ave.Employment: Retired educator.Education: Graduate of Quincy High School; bachelor's degree in secondary education from Slippery Rock University; master's of education degree from Penn State University.Family: Wife, Patricia; four children.Priority: Complete projects already begun and for which funding has been procured; repair and/or replace sidewalks.
