CANFIELD -- Trick-or-treat hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the city of Canfield and Canfield Township.
Project to be discussed
YOUNGSTOWN -- The city public works department will have a public meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in city council chambers seeking input into the Federal Plaza reconstruction project.
Two options are being considered for reopening the plaza to traffic.
One contains an intersection with traffic lights where the central square and monuments now sit on Market Street. The other contains a traffic circle instead of an intersection.
Whether to keep or remove a section of the plaza between Champion and Walnut streets, where the amphitheater sits, is also a choice to be made under either layout.
The city will take written comments until Nov. 16. Construction of the preferred project is to start in mid-2002 and be done by spring 2003.
