Greenville man, 62, killed in two-vehicle accident



GREENVILLE, Pa. -- A Greenville man was killed Friday afternoon in a traffic accident at Kinsman and North Goodhope roads.
Hugh McClimans, 62, of North Goodhope Road, was pronounced dead at the scene by J. Bradley McGonigle III, Mercer County coroner.
McClimans, who was northbound on North Goodhope Road at 4 p.m., was driving a pickup that was hit broadside by a car that was eastbound on Kinsman Road, police said.
McClimans, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the truck and suffered chest injuries, the coroner said.
The driver and two passengers in the car, all men in their late teens or early 20s, were treated at UPMC Horizon, Greenville, police said.
Randall Funeral Home in Jamestown is handling arrangements for McClimans.
