Search for Leetonia man, 76, goes on; missing for 4 days



LEETONIA -- Police continue to search for Joe Driscoll, 76, of 20 Robinson St. Family members reported him missing Monday, police Chief John Soldano said.
Soldano said Driscoll, a former teacher and retired Lisbon Schools superintendent, was last seen about 5 p.m. Saturday when he left the Elks Lodge on Main St. Witnesses told police Driscoll seemed in good health and good spirits. He told a friend and neighbor he was going home.
Soldano said Driscoll lives alone, but two sisters check on him regularly. Police contacted two children who live out of the area, but they have not seen Driscoll, Soldano said.
Van gone, too: He said Driscoll's van, a 1996 dark maroon Chrysler Town and Country, also is missing. The license plate on the van is Ohio registration 173WVB, and it has an insignia, WWII/514.
