Jackson Center driver dies in crash; 2 injured
MERCER, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Police said a Jackson Center woman was killed when the car she was driving collided with a pickup truck on Springfield Church Road in Findley Township around 2:25 p.m. Thursday.
Kathleen A. Sealand, 43, of Hosack Road, was southbound when her car veered across the center line and struck the pickup head-on, police said.
Neither Sealand nor her husband, Larry, 48, was wearing a seat belt, police said.
Larry Sealand was taken to United Community Hospital and later transferred to Allegheny General Hospital.
A hospital spokesman said he was in fair condition.
The driver of the pickup, Thomas A. Foster, 33, of Stoneboro Road, Grove City, also wasn't wearing a seat belt and suffered serious injuries, police said.
Police didn't say where he was taken for treatment and no Mercer County hospital acknowledged treating him.
