Haunted hayride
CAMPBELL -- A haunted hayride is scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Roosevelt Park. The day also includes pumpkin and bench decorating contests, storytelling, face-painting and refreshments. Pumpkins should be decorated at home and dropped off at the park by 1 p.m. Sunday; pumpkins should not be illuminated. The hayride costs $1.

WEATHERSFIELD -- A candidates forum for Weathersfield Township trustee will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Summit Assembly of God, 2615 Salt Springs Road. Candidates are Fred Bobovnyk and George F. Buccella, both incumbents, and Mary Ann Davis, Sarah P. Letscher and James E. Stoddard. The forum is sponsored by the Weathersfield Township Responsible Citizens Association.
