ANTIQUE SHOWS
XShenango Presbyterian Home will hold its second annual antique appraisal fund-raiser from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church social hall, 229 S. Market St., New Wilmington, Pa. Appraisals will be done at a cost of $5 for two antiques. Dinner items also will be available.
AUCTIONS
XSt. Paul Home and School Association will sponsor a fall auction at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 in the school gymnasium, 925 E. State St., Salem. Tickets are $5 and include admission, appetizers, soda and coffee. Items to be auctioned include a computer package, condo in Florida, Dale Earnhart poster and signed picture frame, Cleveland Indians box seats and gift baskets.
XAn auction is planned by Shenango Valley Foundation at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at My Brother's Place, 2058 Leesburg-Grove City Road, Mercer, for the benefit of the N.Y. Police and Firemen's Widows and Children's Fund. To donate auction items, drop off merchandise from 5 to 7 p.m. any day before the event. Light refreshments will be available. BAZAARS
XCanfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will sponsor its 61st annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3. Shops will feature homemade crafts with special Christmas items, silk and dried flower arrangements, wreaths, baskets, rugs, quilts, housewares, used books, homemade breads, cakes, pies and candy and United Methodist coleslaw. A bag-a-bargain super sale will be from 3 to 4 when clothing and books will be $1 a bag. For information call (330) 533-9801.
XGustavus Federated Church, state Route 87 and 193, will hold a bazaar Saturday. A country store will be open from 1 to 7 p.m. at Gustavus Town Hall, and turkey dinners will be served at the church from 1:30 to 7 p.m.; the cost is $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 6-12 and free for preschoolers.

Homemade candy, preserves and baked goods, clothing, toys, Christmas decorations, florals and trash and treasure will be available. Doors will open at 1 p.m.. A turkey dinner will be served; tickets are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children 4-12 and free for those 3 and younger, and will go on sale at 12:30 p.m. at the front entrance.XThe Women's Association of New Bedford Presbyterian Church, Marr Road, New Bedford, Pa., will sponsor its annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3. There will be homemade craft items, plants, trash and treasure, and candy. Sandwiches, homemade soup and beverages will be available for lunch, and church cookbooks will be sold.
XOur Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 618 Ohio Ave., McDonald, will hold a bazaar and trash and treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the church hall. Rental tables are available for $15 and can be reserved by calling (330) 530-2400 by Nov. 4. Refreshments will be sold.
CARD/BINGO PARTIES
XThe Altar and Rosary Confraternity of Our Lady of Hungary Church, 545 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will hold a bingo and card party at 2 p.m. Sunday. Refreshments will be served. Admission is $2.
XWomen's Guild of St. Vincent de Paul Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will have its annual card party at 7 p.m. Thursday in the church hall. There will be over 100 door prizes and special prizes. A box luncheon will be served. Participants are asked to take their own cards or board games. Parking is free. Tickets are available from any guild member, at the church office or at the door.
CRAFT SHOWS
XAustintown Middle School PTA will sponsor a country craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the school, 5800 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. Admission is free, and there will be a raffle and food. XGirl Scouts of Lake to River Council will hold a holiday craft show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 3 at St. Rose School, 61 E. Market St., Girard.
