BOARDMAN -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place during a 4:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 15 as Nicole Lyn Knebel, 824 Wheeler Ave., Hubbard, and William Andrew Spencer of Austintown were united in marriage at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
Judge Robert Lisotto presided at the wedding for the daughter of Al and Delores DeProfio and Stephen and Laura Knebel, all of Hubbard, and the son of William and Louise Spencer of North Navarre Avenue, Austintown.
The couple accepted congratulations afterward during a reception at St. Mary's Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church.
They live in Austintown.
Navy blue gowns were worn by Elizabeth Stowers, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Jennifer Stacik, Jackie Cline, Marie Baglieri and Amy Christoff, the bride's cousin. Also cousins of the bride, Lindsey Green was junior bridesmaid and Brianna Grande was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Christopher Spencer, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Carl DeSiato; Shane and Chad Hyland, the groom's cousins; and Joshua Knebel, a brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was her cousin, Daniel Christoff, and ring bearer was her son, Corey Knebel.
The bride is employed in the law office of White and Briach.
The groom holds a degree in architecture from Kent State University and is an architect with Hanahan and Strollo in Youngstown.
