NANBPWC plans Ebony Fashion Fair



WARREN -- The Youngstown/ Warren Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs will sponsor the 44th Ebony Fashion Fair at 8 p.m. Oct. 27 at the W.D. Packard Music Hall.
This marks the second time the national show will stop in Warren.
Entertainment will be provided by recording artists, the Robinson Brothers. The host will be the Rev. David Herron of Faith Church of God in Christ. LaCheryl Tucker of WYTV Channel 33 will be featured in the intermission show.
Tickets for the dinner and show are $40; show-only tickets are $20. Cost includes a subscription to Ebony or Jet magazines. Tickets are available at TicketMaster, RBG Music, Hair Is-Es Hair Clinic and Carol's Beauty Salon, all in Warren, and BJ's Salon and Rollers Place Restaurant, both Youngstown. Gifts from area stores will be awarded.
Beneficiary: All proceeds will go the NANBPWC Scholarship Fund for Mahoning and Trumbull county students.
Chairman is Edna Douglas. Wanda Williamson and Bonita Howard are co-chairmen, and Marcia Bench is dinner chairman.
