RICHMOND, Va. -- The marriage of Michelle Ann Myers, daughter of retired U.S. Navy Cmdr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Myers III of Oak Hill, Va., formerly of Youngstown, and Dr. Jason Stewart Wall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael W. Wall of Bon Air, Va., was solemnized Oct. 20 at West End Presbyterian Church.
An evening reception was held in the rotunda of the Science Museum of Virginia, and the couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the eastern Caribbean. They will live in Raleigh, N.C. ,
The bride wore a sleeveless ballgown embellished with seed pearls and featuring a tulle skirt accentuated with satin panels and a chapel train.
Matron of honor was Amanda Gift, and bridesmaids were Courtney Cassada, Amy Gobel, Briana Myers, Emily Sanders, Jennifer Tuskey and Laurie Wright.
The groom's father performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Brian Feeney, Deepak Kaul, Mark McAuliffe, Michael Myers, Christopher Scanniello and Andrew Wall.
The bride graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., with a bachelor's degree in political science. Prior to her marriage, she was employed at the executive mansion as an assistant to the first lady of Virginia, Roxane Gilmore.
The groom received a bachelor's degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Richmond and a doctorate in chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a staff research chemist at DuPont AirProducts NanoMaterials in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
