LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements

NORTH LIMA -- The Mahoning County branch of the Ohio Farm Bureau and its organization director, Pearle Burlingame of North Lima, were recognized by the bureau for this year's successful membership campaign. The state farm bureau has 214,014 members and experienced its 34th consecutive year of membership gain in 2001. A new campaign begins in January.
POLAND -- Kenneth Perkins, formerly of Poland and a senior partner and financial representative at Tri-State Financial Services in Wintersville, Ohio, has been selected to attend a leadership meeting in Hawaii next spring for New England Financial. He has also qualified for the company's 2002 Million Dollar Round Table, a sales award, for the fifth time since 1995.
CANFIELD -- David Bulkley, a branch manager for Prudential Securities in Canfield, has received the company's Community Champions Rising Star Award of $250, to be given to Hospice of the Valley. The award program recognizes employees who excel in volunteer commitment by providing grants to the organizations where they volunteer. Bulkley volunteers an average of 10 hours a month at Hospice.
