Tropical fish auction
LORDSTOWN -- Youngstown Area Tropical Fish Society will have its annual fall public fish auction Sunday in the Lordstown administration building on Salt Springs Road, just east of state Route 45.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. for those who want to sell fish. The auction starts at noon.

Mammography Day
YOUNGSTOWN -- In observance of National Mammography Day on Friday, pink ribbons will be tied around trees at Forum Health facilities in Mahoning and Trumbull counties to draw attention to the need for women to undergo annual mammograms for early detection of breast cancer.
At 9:30 a.m., Forum Health officials will gather on the front lawn at Northside Medical Center to announce a program of free mammograms for qualifying women with no health insurance.
Amish quilt auction
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The autumn auction of handmade Amish quilts will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the New Wilmington Grange Hall on High Street. The sale will continue until all the quilts are sold, a process that usually lasts until late afternoon. The sales of quilts made by area Amish women take place in October and April.
