STATE EVALUATION Warren Schools
Even though the city school district is still in academic emergency, the state's preliminary findings for the 2001 state report card show Warren schools have made improvement.:
The district has shown some improvement in 17 of 27 performance standards.
Of the five standards met, all were performances measured at Warren G. Harding High School.
All were in reading and writing on ninth-grade proficiency tests for ninth- and 10-graders, and on the 12th-grade proficiency test.
Results show that graduation and attendance rates also are up.
