MARLA MASSUCCIDANIEL CHAIN
WARREN -- Marla Christine Massucci and Daniel James Chain were united in marriage Sept. 8 at St. James Church. The Rev. Charles Crumbley and the groom's uncle, the Rev. Thomas Chain, officiated.
After a reception at Leo's Ristorante in Howland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Massucci of Warren and the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Chain of Canton left in a wedding trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico. They live in Stow.
Honor attendant was Angela Massucci, the bride's sister, and bridesmaids were her cousins, Renee Massucci and Gina Coleman; the groom's sisters, Katie Chain and Becky Burky; Angie Elliott; Nicole Basciano; and Megan Shanahan. Junior bridesmaid was Jenna Germano, and flower girl was Jacqueline Germano, her cousins.
Best man was Tim Sturznickel, and groomsmen were Jeff Chain and J.D. Rohrer, cousins of the groom; Ryan Burky, his brother-in-law; Jim Fogarty, the bride's cousin; Matt Elliott; Bryan Johnson; and Mike Cain. Junior groomsman was Jake Gano, and ring bearer was her cousin, Michael Massucci.
Also participating were Dr. Elmer Parks, the groom's grandfather; Dave Gano, his uncle; and Frank Castellano, the bride's uncle.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in consumer and family studies from Kent State University, where she is pursuing a master's in community counseling. She is employed with Larocca Enterprises in Hudson. The groom holds a degree in sports management from Mount Union College and is a fitness director at Life Center Plus in Hudson.
