BOARDMAN -- The gazebo in Boardman Township Park provided the setting at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 8 as Carey Malatok and Jason Hoffman, both of 7003 Amherst Ave., were united in marriage by the Rev. Jim Ray.
Afterward the newlyweds were honored during a reception at the Lockwood House.
Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. James Malatok, 294 Elm St., Struthers, and Mr. and Mrs. H. Thomas Hoffman, 19 E. Grant St., Lowellville.
A computer technician at Computer Science Corp., Warren, Mrs. Hoffman earned a degree in computer information systems at Youngstown State University.
Mr. Hoffman, a relationship manager with Key Bank in Liberty, graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from YSU.
Silver beading trim was featured on the bride's satin A-line gown.
The bride's sister, Kim Liller of Boardman, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Hoffman of Kent, the groom's sister-in-law; Lori Kisak of Girard, his cousin; Sharyn Malatok of Houston, her sister; Becky Hively, Canfield; and Michelle Ray, Boardman. The bride's niece, Lexie Liller of Boardman, was flower girl.
Joshua Hoffman of Kent served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Scott Rentz of Newton Falls, the groom's cousin, and Rick Palumbo, Mike Musolino, Matt Bodine and Dave Olson, all of Lowellville.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico.
They live at the Amherst Avenue address.
