Pennsylvania's squirrel and grouse seasons started Saturday and run to Nov. 24. The state's general small game season will open Oct. 27. In anticipation, Pennsylvania will make several releases of ring-necked pheasants during the week of Oct. 22.
Ohio's small game season (rabbit, pheasant, quail) opens Nov. 2. Currently, squirrel, grouse and fall wild turkey seasons are in effect.
