YOUNGSTOWN -- St. Christine Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Sept. 22 for the wedding of Samantha Suzanne Colla, daughter of Roger and Wendy Colla, 8479 Ivy Hill Drive, Poland, and Brian Matthew Palkovic, son of Paul Palkovic of Euclid Boulevard, Boardman, and Margaret Minear of Cannon Road, Austintown.
Monsignor David Rhodes officiated, and a reception took place at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman.
The couple are living at 8455 S.E. Church St., Hobe Sound, Fla.
Fashioned of white tulle, the bride's strapless gown featured crystal accents on the bodice and A-line skirt. An embroidered band trimmed the natural waist, and the skirt fell to a chapel train.
Jessi Farrow was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Lisa Colla and Danielle Scianna, the bride's cousins; DeAnna Mordocco; and Linda Carano. They wore pewter-colored gowns.
The duties of best man were performed by Matthew Myers, and groomsmen were Mike Knerr; Matthew Colla, the bride's brother; Paul Ankeles; and Greg Emch.
Mrs. Palkovic holds a bachelor's degree in applied sciences from Youngstown State University and is employed in sales in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Her husband graduated from Kent State University and is a designer with Kirchhoff Architects in Jupiter, Fla.
