Poland playwrightprepares play for stage
POLAND -- Gloria Dunnam Bayowski, of Poland, has written three plays. Her latest, "Neverland," will be performed at the Youngstown Playhouse in January. The play is a dark comedy about a family who escapes into fairy tales to avoid reality.
"The Mystery of Eddie Leonard," another play penned by Bayowski, was adapted for stage from a book by Harry Mazer during the 1998 YSU English Festival. The play was recently published by Eldridge Plays.
Bayowski attended Youngstown State University and completed graduate work at Kent State University.
