BOARDMAN -- The Rev. Robert Quaintance solemnized the marriage of Phyllis Ann Wiseman and Kevin Manack, both of 6605 Katahdin Drive, Poland, during a ceremony Sept. 22 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park.
After the 5 p.m. ceremony the newlyweds received guests during a reception at St. Mary Romanian Byzantine Catholic Church hall.
Since returning from a honeymoon in the Poconos, the couple live at the Poland address.
The bride, a daughter of George D. Wiseman Sr. of Cincinnati and the late Beverly J. Wiseman, graduated from ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown. She is a store administrative assistant at Kohl's department store in Boardman.
The groom, a son of Nicholas A. and Sylvia M. Manack of 4890 Villa Marie Road, Lowellville, is attending Youngstown State University. He is a word-processing specialist with Mahoning County Department of Jobs and Family Services in Youngstown. He also is a volunteer fireman in Poland and Coitsville.
The bride wore an ivory chiffon gown styled with a square neckline, long flowing sleeves and chapel-length train. Gold and silver beadwork accented the empire waist.
Christine Madick of Boardman, the honor attendant, wore a burgundy dress, as did the bridesmaids, Kathy Ziegler of Youngstown and Nikki Sacco of Poland.
Tom Maker of Struthers performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Manack of Lowellville, brother of the groom, and Joe Nocera of Poland.
