New England trip taken to mark McMurray 50th



NORTH LIMA -- Mr. and Mrs. K. Robert McMurray of North Lima retraced their honeymoon trip during a trip taken from Oct. 2-7 to the New England States and to Niagara Falls as part of their 50th wedding anniversary celebration.
They also were honored Sept. 29 during a surprise dinner party at Fair Park in Canfield and at a breakfast Sept. 30 at the Holiday Inn, Boardman. Arrangements were made by their children, Deborah Siembida of Salem and Dale McMurray of Snellville, Ga., and four grandchildren.
Mr. McMurray and the former Joanne Smith were married Sept. 29, 1951, at Central Christian Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. McMurray worked as an executive secretary at Union National Bank and Bank One in Youngstown for 21 years. She retired in 1992. She was a member of Tri-County Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.
Mr. McMurray worked for 16 years in shipping at U.S. Steel Corp. and for 25 years as receiving superintendent at William B. Pollock Co., Youngstown, retiring in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. and Mrs. McMurray are members of Central Christian Church.
