YOUNGSTOWN -- Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park provided the setting for the Oct. 13 wedding of Kristin Joy Bundy and Thomas Jewett Lakin Jr., both of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The Rev. David Leonard officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Patricia and Michael Bundy of Canfield and the son of Eileen and Thomas Lakin Sr. of Cincinnati.
Later the newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in the park.
The couple are honeymooning in Aruba. They will live in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Honor attendant was Jill Bundy of Streetsboro, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Colleen Dunn of Cincinnati, sister of the groom, and Elizabeth Quesnelle of Chicago.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Lakin of Cincinnati, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Bundy of Canfield, brother of the bride, and Tyson Hunt of Glens Falls, N.Y. Ring bearer was Liam Dunn of Cincinnati, nephew of the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Lakin graduated from Miami University in Oxford. He earned a bachelor's degree in history and she graduated with a bachelor's degree in English.
Mrs. Lakin is the managing editor at HealthMatters Communications in Manhattan, N.Y.
Mr. Lakin is e-commerce suppliers service manager at Thomas Publishing Co. in Manhattan.
