HOLIDAY FUND-RAISER Stambaugh Pillars style show is set for Nov. 7



The event will benefit the continued restoration of Stambaugh Auditorium.
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Stambaugh Pillars will sponsor the fifth annual holiday fashion show, "Go in Style," at 10 a.m. Nov. 7 at Stambaugh Auditorium ballroom.
Mayor George McKelvey will take part in an anniversary toast in observance of Stambaugh Auditorium's 75th year.
Details: There will be a raffle with a grand prize of $2,500 in gift certificates, an $800 shopping spree and 44 other prizes donated by the community. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.
Tickets for the fashion show are $30; tables of eight are available.

Proceeds of the fund-raiser will go toward the continued refurbishing and restoration of Stambaugh Auditorium, which will mark its 75th anniversary Dec. 5.
In charge: Serving as honorary chairman is Robert Klein, and Susan Henderson is fashion show coordinator. Both are of Dillard's department store, a major sponsor of the event.
Jeanne Simeone and JoAnn Iaderosa are co-chairmen. Serving on the committee are Joyce Bernstine, Mary Jane Karam, Jean Guarnieri, Phyllis Wilkoff, Carol Desmond, Barbara Tinkham, Dorothy Melody, Wilma Stewart, Kathleen Rickert, Antonia Douglass, John Manning, Norma Garritano, Jan Cefalo, Leland Clegg, Emanuel Cominos and Valerie Zurawick.
