GARDEN CLUBS
MONDAY
XGarden Gate members will meet at 7:30 p.m. for a tea-towel angel project. Louise Vett will be hostess, and co-hostess will be Barbara Murray.
XFlowers of The Butler Institute of American Art will be the program for the noon meeting of Poland. Anne Ellis will be in charge, and on the social committee will be Louise Mulderig, Patty Hensch and Jane Theil.
XMembers of Ridgewood will visit the Weaving Willow Fibre Barn in Hubbard, where basket-weaving will be taught. A business meeting and refreshments will follow. Hostesses will be Denise Zeurcher and Jeannie Andrews.
TUESDAY
XJeanette Bernard and Betty McLaughlin will be chairmen for the 11 a.m. meeting of Daisy Dozen. Members will tour the maze at Lanterman Farm and have lunch at Rockne's in Boardman.
XOur Lady of Fatima will meet at 9:30 a.m. for a tour of Great Harvest Bread Co., 7684 Market St., followed by a luncheon meeting at 11 a.m. at the Grand Buffet.
XTrailwood will have a salad luncheon at 11 a.m. with Linda DeLost as hostess and Dot Mollineaux and Dorothy Brooks as co-hostesses.
WEDNESDAY
XMembers of Country Lane will meet at 8 p.m. for a "Pumpkin Patch" program. Marie Lorrubbio will be hostess, and Elinor Halliday will be in charge of the basket.
XSmaldino's Family Restaurant will be the setting at 11:30 a.m. as members of East celebrate the organization's anniversary. Hostesses will be Hilda Theiss and Rose Minotti.
XGuest day is planned for the 11:30 a.m. meeting of Glen Gardeners at the Youngstown Country Club. Joe Mineo will give a program on "Decorating for the Holidays." Hostesses will be Mrs. William Musselman, Mrs. Gordon Linville, Mrs. George Dietz and Cathryn Rousseau.
THURSDAY
XCoitsville will have a workshop at its 7 p.m. meeting. Marlene McDowall will serve as hostess.
XA patriotic craft is planned for the 7:30 p.m. meeting of Johnny Appleseed. Mary Carol Eisenbrei will be hostess, and co-hostess will be Peggy Potts. Harriet Deeds will be in charge of the door prize.
SATURDAY
XDorothy Henry will be hostess for the meeting of Sunflower. The program, "House Plants," will be presented by Sallie Pinkard.
UPCOMING
XMembers of St. Michael Garden Guild who are planning to make a shadow box at the November meeting must contact Mary Ann Silvestri by Friday so that supplies can be ordered. Cost is $15. The next regular meeting will be at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 24 at the parish center. Gordon Vujevic will present "A Year of Ohio Wild Flowers." Linda Bowden will preside, and hostesses will be Kate Fitzgerald and Peg Davis. Next month's meeting will take place at 11 a.m. Nov. 3 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens. Lunch will follow at the cafe.
