Flu, pneumonia shots
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown City Health District will give flu and pneumonia shots by appointment only from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to those 65 and older. People must call from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday to make the appointment at (330) 743-3333, Ext. 263. Flu shots are $10; pneumonia shots, $15. They will be given on the second floor of Oak Hill Renaissance Place, formerly Southside Medical Center, 345 Oak Hill Ave. The shots are free for Medicare Part B card holders.
Rabies shot clinic
YOUNGSTOWN -- A rabies shot clinic will be Saturday in the parking deck of Oak Hill Renaissance Place (formerly Southside Medical Center). The shots are $2 for dogs, cats and ferrets. Call the Youngstown City Health District (330) 743-3333, Ext. 230, for more information.
Job fair scheduled
YOUNGSTOWN -- A job fair will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 in the auditorium of Oak Hill Renaissance Center (formerly Southside Medical Center), 345 Oak Hill Ave. The fair is sponsored by the Life Skills Center of Youngstown located in the Renaissance Center. Candidates Night
EAST PALESTINE -- East Palestine Chamber of Commerce will have a Meet the Candidates Night for the public at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Community Center in East Palestine Park. Candidates for the office of East Palestine City Council, Unity Township trustee, East Palestine Board of Education, and Columbiana County municipal court judge will be present to speak.
